CrosaCore aims to be usable by as many people as possible, on the website and in person. This page states plainly what has been done, what is known not to work well yet, and how to get help.

This website

The site is built to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, version 2.1, at level AA. Specifically:

  • Text and background colors meet or exceed the required contrast ratios throughout.
  • Every page can be operated by keyboard alone, with a visible focus indicator and a skip-to-content link.
  • Navigation works without JavaScript. If scripts fail to load, every page is still reachable.
  • Images carry descriptive alternative text. The diagram on the Rebuild Method page has a full text description.
  • Headings follow a logical order, so screen reader users can navigate by structure.
  • Form fields have visible labels, not placeholder text standing in for them.
  • Buttons and navigation links are large enough to tap comfortably on a phone.
  • Text can be enlarged in your browser without the layout breaking.
  • The site respects a reduced-motion preference if you have one set.

The clinic

The clinic is at 711 W 38th St, Suite F-4, in Austin.

  • The entrance is step free.
  • Treatment rooms are on the same level, with no stairs.
  • Parking is available and you can park anywhere in the lot.
  • The front door is sometimes locked. Text on arrival and you will be let in, so there is no need to wait outside.

If you have a specific access need, say so before your first visit and it will be arranged rather than improvised on the day.

During a session

Care is one to one, which means the pace is set by you rather than by a schedule.

  • You may decline any part of an examination or treatment at any point, without explaining why.
  • You may ask to pause, or to have another person present, at any time.
  • Written material can be provided in larger print on request.
  • If you communicate more easily in writing than by phone, say so and communication will happen that way.
  • In-home care is available where traveling to the clinic is difficult.

Known limitations

Stating these honestly is more useful than claiming the site is perfect.

  • The Rebuild Method diagram is visually dense. It carries a full text description, but the text version is easier to follow than the image for some readers.
  • Comparison tables scroll sideways on narrow screens. The information is all there, but it takes more effort to read on a phone.
  • Some third-party services the site links to, such as online scheduling, are outside CrosaCore’s control and may not meet the same standard.
  • The site has been tested with keyboard navigation and automated tools. It has not yet been tested by users of screen readers or other assistive technology. If you use one, feedback is genuinely welcome.
